Often overlooked due its proximity to London. Essex boasts many truly beauty churches. Some 150 were photographed using various digital cameras which were then edited down to approximately 50 for inclusion in the book. Those chosen make no claim to be the greatest, smallest, grandest , oldest or most beautiful. This is an entirely subjective selection. Each Church featured caught the eye and imagination of David Stanford.
